The museam was run by a group that looks after the old telegraph buliding, the court house, the vault the town hall and other historic buildings so the one ticket gets you access to all. It cost us $10 a head which I think was...More

So much history of places and people we learned about at school back in our younger years. Great place for young kids to explore and learn what old shops looked like and learn so much of the colonial past.

Burke museum has very good presentations and interesting artifacts. You don't need a whole day to discover interests and you may only stay a little while but regardless you will come away better informed on local history and wildlife. Highly recommended.

This museum is amazing. So well set up and organised. Knowledgeable staff who were happy to make conversation. We could have spent hours here. The ticket allows you entry to other tourist attractions including the Court House and Kelly Vault. I would definitely visit Beechworth...More

$8 adults, $5 concession includes pass to the vault. The pas is the only way you can visit the Vault.
