Had my lunch while sitting in the gardens, was very quiet and peaceful. Finished up with a brisk walk around then left. Very happy

We camped in the adjacent Lakes and Craters CP, so had oodles of opportunities for walks in the park - each one a delight.

A small, nice well maintained garden on a high ground with nice view of the lake below. The plants are generally what you might see in your own garden so not many exciting species of plant. Can only be reached by driving as it takes...More

The severe lack of rain makes it hard for the gardens to be full of green and flowers, but the majestic trees and the well kept grounds make this all the more worth a visit.

Beautiful gardens and vantage point, right next to the Caravan Park. Worth the walk through or a picnic

Absolutely beautiful spot. Immaculately tended gardens. The history plaques have fantastic information. Stunning colours and beautiful pathways. The view of both Crater Lakes from the gardens is breathtaking at sunrise and sunset. We always stop here when down the GOT

The gardens had a good variety of plants from lovely roses and hollyhocks to very large trees. Seating was spread throughout the gardens and there were good views of the crater lakes.

Not an overall big Botanical layout as opposed to nearby town. But the view is magnificent, which I’m sure is why the location was chosen. Very neat and tidy garden which is accessed through the caravan park and overlooks the lakes and golf club.

An energetic half an hour walk with great views. Perfect if your children have been in the car for too long and need a run up a hill
