Ok, so yes it is mostly a climb uphill, rather than a leisurely stroll, but its not long considering the spectacular view at the top. It took us about an hour with two quite active boys aged 6 and 8. About a km into the...More

It is a good walk to the top and in Spring the wildflowers were in bloom which was very pretty. Wonderful views all along the walk and especially at the top. Definitely a good work out on the way up; way back need to take...More

A pleasant walk gentle at first then a steady climb to the summit. Some new steps have been added as part of a through walk planned for the Grampians.

Not for the faint-hearted or infirm, this hike is testing but totally worth the time. Stunning panoramic views are your reward. Make sure you take water and other snacks to keep you full or energy.

This walk is rated hard. If you are a reasonable walker, it is reasonably for the last 500mts but well worth the view. Take water and sunscreen as not much cover.

Easter break is a good time to visit the Grampians area, the weather was great and the view of course is amazing. Not many people which I was surprised. Walk took me 2 hrs 45 min and got to the summit just before sunset. Quiet...More

I can’t find another write up on this subject. This was the best dancing cloud scene I have experienced anywhere in the world. The closet I’ve seen is in Zermatt when the Matterhorn smokes sometimes....the cloud formations like a cigar tail. I was lucky to...More

This takes I would say 1hr-1hr 20 up and around 45 minutes down, beautiful views of surrounding areas. It’s not too hard but slightly challenging if it’s hot I would say as both times we have done this it’s been around 32c. Well worth it...More

If you're reasonably fit then no problem. I've done it a couple of times and yes, it's definitely worth it.
