Situated in gold fossiking territory, this little town is a charmer with historic buildings and a great bakery. Even one of the two pubs has recently reopened. Good mountain bike riding in the surrounding forest. Or find your own nugget. Eureka!

You can feel a sense of what life was like during the gold rush era when you visit these historic buildings, the town is also a lovely place to visit and enjoy a stroll up the historic main street called Broadway.
