Like many others interested in the Kelly story, I was slightly disappointed to see nothing but an empty field at the site of the Glenrowan Inn. Even the sign (still used in advertising) was gone. However, completing the Last Stand walk around the marked sites...More

I really struggle with this, but my husband thought is was great, standing on a little piece of history. The scenes were sign posted but for me there was nothing really to see.

Now just an empty paddock the location of Ann Jones Inn and Ned Kellys final siege this place is steeped in history. There is a free self guided tour in Glenrowan showing all the places and events that occurred back in 1880. Definitely worth visiting.

Being that it happened so long ago I’m not surprised there isn’t much there. I found going to the Ned Kelly Museum first the best way to do this site, as you get to see the photos, learn the history and get a map of...More

Go over the railway bridge and first right to start the self guided tour. Very disappointed as no signs to find the start of the self guided tour. Was only because I read a previous trip advisor review we found where it was. Glenrowan really...More

Fantastic experience to walk where Ned and his gang got caught. Plenty of signs that tells you what's happened. Just follow the signs labelled 1-7 and you'll be fine. You can walk from the main center over the bridge. But I drove and parked on...More

Having been to the museum, this is a 5 minute walk away and helps round off the Ned Kelly experience. Several signposts with commentary, in around a 400m self guided walk, allows you to view where the hotel was and location of Ned, his gang,...More

Seige site is part of the larger Seige Precinct. Marked out really well with lots of history markers and information. Even landscaped to feel as if you’ve stepped back in time. Worth the stop for anyone interested in Kelly history.

As you pull into Siege Street you cannot miss the spot where this historic moment occurred. This is where Ned Kelly had his last stand with the law and the positions of the police and Kelly gang members are all marked with wooden statues, there...More

Ann Jones rebuilt on the site with government compensation. A later, 1890s wine shanty on the 80-metre by 25-metre block on Siege Street was demolished in 1976 and the privately owned site is now vacant.
