Highly recommend a visit to Halls Gap Zoo ,set in bushland .Beautiful grounds and gardens of native trees and shrubs added to the appeal. Great variety of animals . Very pleasing to see the large enclosures,all well kept and animals that were healthy and well fed

Halls Gap Zoo was the best! Well laid out and very accessible. Easy route which visited all enclosures. Animals are well fed, & cared for, and totally loved by staff. $40 entry was great value.

This is a great zoo, with lots of animals. I was suprised how big it was. Reasonably priced, large free parking area and a short drive out of Halls Gap. Very friendly keepers who were happy to answer questions and have a chat. There are many animal encounters that you can book into at an extra cost, also a well stocked gift shop. There are picnic tables and a playground and dinasour sculptures to entertain the kids.

AMAZING!!! My husband and I did the Zoo Keeper for a day experience. From the first call through to the day everyone was so helpful and nothing was too hard. We had the most Amazing Day! We had the absolute pleasure of being guided by Tara, Jules, Lilly, Marcus and Steph. All of their knowledge on the animals they were looking after was second to none. They answered all of our questions and made us feel a part of the family at Halls Gap Zoo. These staff members are an absolute credit to the Zoo and we will definitely be back with our children. Thank you for an experience we will never forget.

Fantastic time for whole family. This zoo has really been upgraded since I was there 5 years ago. All the animals looked really healthy and the facilities were fantastic. Coffee Van a welcome addition. You can get so close to the animals, compared to a metropolitan zoo eg we were just a few metres away from the rhino. I would highly recommend buying a bag a feed and feeding the deer early in the day before they get over it all. We would certainly go again

Our second visit to this zoo. Well set out and a good variety of animals. Our favourites were the giraffes, rhinos, birds, otters and meercats. The red pandas were hiding :( Seniors price for admission. Easy to wander around for 2-3 hours.

A great day out and the animal encounters we booked made the day so much better. We booked the Red Panda and Meerkat experiences, and they were well worth the extra cost. There wasn't a rushed time with the Panda's or Meerkats and the zoo staff were excellent. After the experiences it's about a 2klm self-paced walk around the zoo path to see the other animals. Be aware there is very limited food and drinks available during the week, but a food van on weekends.

This zoo was fantastic and was absolutely gorgeous being able to interact with the wallaby, deer, ducks and Guinea fowl. We bought 2 bags of food pellets but wasnt enough. We had so much fun!! The zoo had plenty to see and walking around was really nice. The paths were well maintained and clean, in fact the entire zoo was clean! We enjoyed this zoo visit very much and would highly recommend a visit for families, couples, singles. A great day out!
