We visited about 9.00am on a foggy morning and the views through the tree with the sun rising were amazing. Well kept park with some trails and a big dam wall.

It could have been better if there was no drizzle. We had a short walk cos was worried about rain getting heavier. Away from city bustle it makes a good and serene walk.

Had a wonderful time wandering around the park and over the dam. A great mix of autumn colours. Would love to return in the summer months.

I write this hesitatingly as we have visited many times. There had been severe storm damage and so much of the place was closed due clean up work. However as others have noted, the rest of the park which was once well kept and pristine...More

We spent an idylic hour or so wandering around the park on a perfect autumn day - plenty of parking, great picnic areas available and a wide variety of easy to more challenging walks throughout the whole area

The place is spectacular. After a nice breakfast in Healsville we decided to visit the Dam. Amazing views and very calm. But... Some people making picnics and BBQ might think they are at home. Some a lot of soft drink cans, plastic bottle dumped everywhere....More

This is a good day out, the camping grounds are close by. This also has a caravan park, at our time visiting fire were allowed. The dam levels were low but still a great day.

It is possible to push a pram from the carpark at the corner of Maroondah Rear Access Road and Henderson loop Road, for maybe 150 metres to the grassy areas below the dam wall. If you are looking for a place for toddler... More

Due to storm damage, a large part of the park is cordoned off, though you can still walk on the dam wall. That said, there are still a number of pergolas and gas BBQs that are accessible in the park.
