On your way into Maldon, you won't miss it but will miss the turn if you blink. Not greatly signed but having the chance to take a moment and see some huge machinery up close and personal is great. The Dredge and Dragline have been...More

Loved seeing theses giant relics from the past. The area is just off the main road not far outside of Maldon and worth a look. It's a pity thoughtless idiots leave rubbish on the ground after they have had a nice look around.

Love this place the old machinery and equipment are awesome in size and beauty. What men will do to try and recover gold at a profit is breathless. You will have to travel along way to find other gold relics of this size.

Two large old pieces of mining machinery hulks. It gives a clue as to the history of mining in the area. Definetaly worth a look.

This was a pleasant surprise, a true rusted gem in the wilderness. It doesn't take long to get around the area but it's a nice calm place to stretch your legs and take a break from the long drive from the city.

We had no idea we were going to find a Snort on our drive into Maldon off the Calder at Fogarty's Gap Road. What a treat! So awesome!

This is situated on the Bendigo side of Maldon and has not been used in a lot of years but it just looks as if at any moment someone could crank up its steam engines and off it would go. Loved it and actually I...More

Our kids insist that we stop here every time we go past. It's a shame that they aren't being preserved properly and probably doesn't help that everyone clambers all over it. Still that is part of the attraction, being able to actually have a look...More
