Loved seeing theses giant relics from the past. The area is just off the main road not far outside of Maldon and worth a look. It's a pity thoughtless idiots leave rubbish on the ground after they have had a nice look around.
Love this place the old machinery and equipment are awesome in size and beauty. What men will do to try and recover gold at a profit is breathless. You will have to travel along way to find other gold relics of this size.
This was a pleasant surprise, a true rusted gem in the wilderness. It doesn't take long to get around the area but it's a nice calm place to stretch your legs and take a break from the long drive from the city.

This is situated on the Bendigo side of Maldon and has not been used in a lot of years but it just looks as if at any moment someone could crank up its steam engines and off it would go.
