The walkways along the bay from Mornington south offer stunning views and one of the best parts of Melbourne yet the trail is totally under utilized and nowhere near its full potential. The walk ways are set back from the water and the area is...More

go for a drive, and go around the bay. It's well worth it. This is NOT on the tourist trail and probably should be. It's a local secret. Without a car though you couldn't do it. It's a decent day drive with stops for food...More

This is about the best walking trail you can find. It weaves around where you get to experience council laid tracks, sun, sand, bush and everything in between. The best thing about it is it superbly beautiful during the winter and so is the walk.

The trail runs along the shores of Port Phillip Bay from Mornington south and is worth a visit by foot or by car. Some places are better than others and it could be better developed but still pretty doo on a nice sunny day.

This is about one of the best walks along the Mornington from Safety Beach to Rosebud or if you are more adventurous even Rye and onwards. Our usual walk from Safety Beach to Rosebud is well laid out and an easy walk with ample parking...More

The coastline along the Mornington area and further south along the Mornington Peninsula is a very part of outer Melbourne. The Mornington area alone has a large pier and the Snapper Point area, a red cliff that sits out into the bay is also interesting....More

We took a walk from Cape Schank, lighthouse spot to the very bay! As we walked past native flora and bird life we took in these sweeping views of the wild coast! Something incredible - great memories, one of our best road trips in Australia.
