This is a really interesting museum which details in depth the significance and suffering for Australians who participated in the Vietnam war. It is well laid out and informative with lots of personal experiences documented. There is also a good collection of military memorabilia, military vehicles, weapons, helicopters, etc from that period. Definitely worth a visit. It also has a good cafe.

While the exterior this museum is quite unassuming, its interior houses a wide variety of exhibits. These include many vehicles and aircraft. But what is most impressive are the items and their descriptions that serve to personalize the conflict. A movie frames the conflict in a way that brings it to life and helps one to better understand what transpired. It is a masterpiece not to be missed.

This is a must see on a trip to Phillip Island. This is a well presented museum of the Vietnam War and recognises the incredible service of all men and women in this conflict with deep respect. A very well put together and informative light show and volunteers were very helpful as well as knowledgeable.

Outstanding museum with great photos, military unit history, hardware exhibitions in a beautiful setting. Excellent film on the history and esp Long Tan. A wonderful tribute to all who served. Not to be missed!!!

Must visit place if you go to Phillip Island. Though it looks very small from outside, but inside is HUGE! it has good collection of not only small war weapons but has big planes, choppers, tanks, jeeps and much more. Also contains heart rendering diary entries of war heroes. Very well maintained and very deserving tribute to war heroes.

Run by volunteers this museum is a true tribute to the Vietnam War, for both surviving and passed Vietnam Veterans. We spend about an hour and half walking through. Definitely watch the video show as you walk in, gives perspective on the war that took many Australian lives.
