Hadn't realised before entering the Centre how prolific volcanoes were/are in this area. Living under one in Queensland, I am now fascinated by their shapes and history. The team here are incredibly helpful

We visited as a school science group on our way through south-west Victoria to the Naracoorte caves. The Discovery Centre was very informative and had friendly and knowledgeable staff. A great introduction to the geology and history of the area. Well worth a visit.

We drove from Port Fairy to Penshurst after reading someone's review on Trip advisor. It was a pleasant drive. When we arrived we headed to Cafe Baghdad to discover that it opens on Saturdays and Sundays only! Then we went to visit Volcano Discovery Museum....More

Excellent place to learn of the history, locals very friendly and explained lots of detail. Wheel chair friendly place. Recommend if your in the area.
