Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We saw this from the lookout which is not far from the carpark at Portsea back beach. It is 2km from Portsea town. The monolithic rock amphitheater is definitely a visit-worthy site and is very popular with photographers at dawn and sunset. If you time your visit at low tide, you can walk out along the beach here.

We came here with interstate friends. We had purchased a framed photo of London bridge and wanted to see it.
Good road signage, good parking and only 150mtrs to lookout.
Beautiful view and an excellent photo opportunity.

London Bridge is a Portsea attraction. The natural bridge has been carved from the soft sandstone by thousands of years of wind, waves and wild water. It's near Portsea on the Mornington Peninsula, it's quite easy to find. By the way, there are strong ocean currents in the area, so swimming is not advised, paddling might be better.

We came to this place to test our luck on crab-catching.
The scenery is beautiful from the lookout. The beach was reasonably quiet and nice during out visit. However, the wave was quite strong, and without the patrol, it is certainly not very suitable for swimming.
Back to our objective visiting this place. With hoop nets and chicken carcasses as baits, we managed to catch some sand crabs! It was a great first-time experience.

We drove past and decided to take a look. Fairly easy walk to the lookout. Steps to the beach are easy and defiantly worth a trip down

This thread in Trip Advisor is for the London Bridge in Portsea, Mornington Peninsula. This is entirely different from the London Bridge at the Great Ocean Road in Port Campbell, Victoria.
A few of the reviews on this thread have totally mistaken the London Bridge in Portsea, for the London Bridge at the Great Ocean Road. Those reviews should be removed from this thread.
This London Bridge in Portsea is not as spectacular to view, as the one at The Great Ocean Road. However, it is nevertheless in a very scenic location in comparison.

London Bridge is very pretty and a place worth stopping by if you have time. There is a car lot; easy to park and to take some time to walk around the area.

This rock formation is at the end Portsea ocean beach. London Bridge itself is lovely for a photo and is surrounded by quiet rock pools and then framed by the crashing ocean waves. Strong currents so not good for swimming but ideal for dabbling at the waters edge with youngsters. Not crowded and nice to have a walk on.

It’s worth noting, there are two different London bridges.......one in Mornington Peninsula and one down the great ocean road. We visited both. Both are very different. Both are worth visiting. Kinda weird they have been given the same name?,

This is a great place to visit from the beach or car park with terrific views, but whatever you do DO NOT CLIMB the decaying rock formations. It’s very dangerous.
If the wind is right, you will see hang and para gliders. If you want to go for a swim, walk down to the patrolled Portsea back beach and swim between the flags.
