It's a great place to walk around, have a chat to the locals, and others who are docked here, and generally get a feel for the place.

Enjoy walking up the steps all the way up to the top, vista view and hearing the sound of the wind blowing on a cold, sunny, quiet, winter days.

This isn't a picturesque harbour, and the shops and cafes are pretty ordinary - I couldn't even buy a sandwich! (Sold out, apparently.) Stick to the town centre unless you're taking the ferry or visiting the Maritime Museum.

Visited on Sunday 18th June. It had been awhile since my last visit to Queenscliff and was delighted to see what they had done with the harbour here.

Busy on a Sunday. A few shops and restaurants and the opportunity to climb on some observation tower from where you have nice view on the village and neighboring islands. Not really worth the detour though.
