We want everyone who visits to have a moment out of the ordinary. This philosophy extends to everything we do. A warm welcome. Finely crafted wine. Food that feeds the senses and the soul. Our chef's hat rated restaurant. A beautiful and bountiful property growing grapes, olives, fresh produce. A diverse and engaging setting for sculpture. We hope you love our little piece of paradise as much as we do.

We just got there by 4pm so had only an hour to order a wine and walk casually around the art presented over the vineyard land around the main building and the vines themselves. It was so relaxing and such a great way to spend a hour sipping on a wine and looking at displays of art.

Great wines, but really has a commercial feel about it. Good if you're going to taste and but, not great to learn or feel part of the vineyard experience. The crowd was a bit pretentious too.

Took my wife to Montalto Restaurant for lunch. Beautiful setting, looking out over the vineyard and watching people strolling the yard taking photo's and having pizza and drinks. The menu was excellent, we had the 3 course lunch for $80.00. The food came out in a timely manner considering the place was to capacity. The quality of the food and... More

It's been a few years since we last dined at Montalto. We both had the 2 course set lunch, which although not cheap at $70 was very tasty. We had the duck and the fish (bass grouper) as mains. Both the fish and duck was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The wine selection is great and the service attentive with... More

Perfect day to sit and overlook the magnificent vineyards and sculpture park. Lunch was a mandatory two course for $70. The quail serve was tiny, the lamb was tough. We were told they were testing a new menu. Well for the price we paid they really should have trialed it on the staff first. We sent the lamb back. Another... More

While our cruise ship stopped in Melbourne for the day, some friends met us to take us on an adventure where we arrived at Montalto, which is their family favourite for special occasions. Our first impression was at the wine tasting bar, which was very busy, as it seemed that everyone arrived at the same time for lunch. But the... More

We called here solely for wine tasting. The chap serving us was so rude. Poured wine into the glass then continued to talk to a fellow worker. He did not once tell us anything about the wines. It was unbelievable he made you feel worthless. The restaurant was extremely busy with so much offering at the setting. A beautiful day... More

Thoroughly enjoyed an evening meal in 'The Restaurant'. The food was fresh and well presented. Wait staff were relatively attentive. Although pricey, I would recommend it to others if your budget allows it. I would like to return during the day and experience the wine tasting , the grounds and art installations.

Had lunch with friends during our day trip to Mornington. We grab some food at the restaurant before heading over to do the wine tasting. It was a afternoon well spent as the place has a beautiful view. To walk off the food and wine, there are sculptures around the estate which are open to the public.

Two words... zucchini pizza. We have driven from Melbourne just to have it. Don't attempt to go on public holidays unless prepared to wait .
