As Australia's prime beaches are quite stunning, Rosebud Beach is average, maybe even less than average for the Aussies. But it sure was fun to walk around and take pictures here! The sandbar stretched way out there, far from the parking lot. We watched a...More

Rosebud beach especially adjacent to the pier is great for kids of all ages. You can walk out for some distance before the water becomes too deep. There are sand banks in a number of locations and the sand is fine and clean.

Rosebud is a safe beach for kids, very good facilities around... excellent shops and cafes.... the playground is fabulous. Excellent for toddlers and you have to walk out a long distance before the water gets deep.
