Made the first vintage of wine in 1858, St Leonards is nestled on the Murray River with fabulous views of prime bushland and plenty of safe space for the kids to run and roam. Cellar Door offering wine tastings and sales. Regular live music and a picturesque function spot make it a venue to remember.

A great cellar door, one of the best we have been to. Friendly staff, good wine list. It wasn't time for lunch, however would have love to stay as the menu looks delicous. Close to Murray River. Also looks like a great wedding venue for those looking for something to remember for the rest of their lives.

When we first entered the big white gates of the property I knew we were in for a special treat. We then drove through the vineyard to the cellar door. From the outside it looks like a big plain shed but once inside it leads you on a path around to see the big old barrels and walks you thru... More

My husband and our kids are regular visitors to St Leonards, on Saturday they also took along my father as a first time visitor....They already know what a fab place this winery is - the historical entry way full of 100 year old oak barrels that were once full of aging wines and historical markers leading through to the cellar... We haven't been to St Leonards for years but fondly remembered it as an innovative winery producing quality wine. The winery seems to have opted for a more populist approach giving wines names like "Dr Durif" and offering tawny port in hip flask type bottles. We started our tasting with a sparkling wine and I asked if it was made... More

Last stop of a magnificent wine tasting day! Off the transport and past the vines drawn by the music to the outside sun drenched green. OK this may not be the occurrence every weekend but it was a great finish to the day. Also there is a great wine tasting room with some special wines

Myself and my partner visited St Leonards and were served by a Canadian woman. She immediately acknowledged us and offered us extensive information on the wines we tasted. She was very friendly and made our experience in the Rutherglen region on the be remembered. Will definitely be visiting here again.

The drive in takes you through the vineyard and the walk through to the tasting room takes you through the old oak barrels where wines are developing (the aroma alone is worth a visit). They sell an excellent young tawny which is ideal if you have an oak barrel at home (if not, then consider buying a 20 litre one... More

Music first Saturday of the month. Great on a fine day. Murray river views from the cafe. Interesting passing though the barrels to the cafe. Staff could be a bit more friendly
