Yarra Junction is a charming town—- I have driven through it a couple of times lately driving from the North East of the state towards Gippsland.
There is an area to pull over into with public toilets and an area to park a car. Across from there is this fenced playground.
It is shaded by established gum trees… most of the playground equipment is wood. There is a BBQ and picnic tables. The football oval abuts with the playground.

Fantastic for the kids fun for the family undercover picnic area and plenty of fun equiptment in an enclosed area

This park is easy to find in the middle of town with plenty of parking. We have been coming for years and its always well kept.
It is fully fenced in so the kids can run as much as they like without parents chasing them. The large variety of equipment keeps them busy for hours. The shops and cafes are in walking distance for that well deserved coffee or ice cream.

Plenty of parking, plenty of shade.
Lots of equipment for kids up to end of primary school. BBQs, picnic tables.

I often use this playground when visiting with my grandchildren, and take them there for a play. It is entirely enclosed, the equipment is safe, clean, and maintained. There is a covered gazebo and bbq area. Toilet facilities are just over the road. Children who use the facilty are usually supervised.

What is not to love? The playground has a variety of play equipment, all in great condition. It is clean and safe for my children and it is so easy for parents to be able to watch the kids from anywhere in the fully fenced area. Gorgeous gardens and tress in a lovely spacious area. Great for all ages.
