Beautiful grounds and home which was the beginning of the college. Very interesting to imagine the home as it was used .

Took awhile to get there since we didn’t really know the area, but worth the trip. Expansive, and decorated in original era. Lot of history of the owners.

We visited this unique ante-bellum home in central Nashville in mid-January. The mansion was constructed in the Italian Villa Style in 1850 and finished in 1853 by the family of Joseph and Adelicia Hayes Acklen. It once had many acres, a greenhouse, a bowling alley,...More

We spent about an hour on a guided tour. The downstairs is undergoing a minor renovation with most of the flooring and furniture missing in the (living room? parlor?). But our guide was knowledgeable and interesting. Maybe not a must see, but worthwhile.

We would have liked to go inside, but we were not able to on the university tour. It is in the middle of campus and easy to access.

A very interesting and factual tour of a grand house and family in Nashville. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Well worth the $15.

Wonderful tour by a well informed docent. The tour includes most of the mansion and the history of this one was quite interesting. I'm glad they have saved it.

We were in Nashville for New Year's Eve and luckily our airbnb was right around the corner from Belmont Mansion so we had to visit it. It turned out to be one of the best thing we did in Nashville, and we did a lot!...More

Had a great visit and tour of the Belmont Mansion. Mid 1800 history buffs would enjoy the facts surrounding this home. Also, ladies would like the decorations (we were there at Christmas). For those that are reading the book series, they would get good foundation...More

We enjoyed the tour of this historical mansion. Very interesting look at the life of a wealthy young lady. Our tour guide was great and knew the history of the house and it's owner in detail.

Hello. Sorry I did not visit Belle Meade and after visiting Belmont and the Hermitage, we thought that there would be nothing new at Belle Meade.
