We did the self guided tour, the guided tour was sold out day we were there. Very interesting seeing and reading the exhibits and just being in the building that holds so much music history. Highly recommend stopping by. You may want to attend a...More

I love this place. It has so much history. The tour is a must! Reserve your times early. It's amazing that this place was once closed.

The seats in the Ryman are terribly uncomfortable. I understand they are church pews but some cushions could be added to make the seating better. The show was just okay, Country Classics on 9/20. We paid $70 pp and saw better entertainment at the Station...More

Loved the Ryman. Went for The Happy Together Tour to see Gary Puckett. So much history under one roof!

The Ryman is both beautiful and a significant part of our country's musical history. By all means it shouldn't be missed.

The Ryman is a classic with wonderful ambiance, great acoustics and easy sightlines. Really, hardly a bad seat in the house. It's always a bonus when an artist I like is booked to play here. Never been on the tour, but I've heard it's great.

We attended the Country Classics show and we loved it. If you get a chance to attend a show at the “mother church”, definitely do it. You can feel the history within the walls.

I have attended several shows at the Ryman, The acoustics are great and there is no bad seat. All sorts of music is available on there stage. In Nashville, the Ryman is an historic venue you must do if the music you like is scheduled.

There is a special ticket you buy for making the cd. I saw people doing it and it looked fun.

you can get your picture "on stage" with the self guided. Its not exactly on the stage but right in front on a step. The guided tour only lets you walk on to the stage in a roped off area of about 10 feet in. The Grand ole... More

Parking downtown is expensive. The person who suggested Opry Mills (Shopping Centre) is talking about the Grand Ole Opry which is not downtown. For any downtown attractions, you are best to take a shuttle -- goes to all... More
