We've been to several shows at different times at the "new" opry house but this was our first time to the Ryman,
It was totally worth it, much smaller venue, you feel much closer to the stage even in the balcony seats.
When we booked our tickets to the Grand Ole Opry we were delighted to find out the show would be in the Ryman Auditorium because the new Facility was hosting another show. The space is beautiful with all the stained glass. The acoustics was amazing...More
My husband and I, and another couple drove 11 hours to attend the Tennessee Christmas with Vince Gill and Amy Grant. The concert was great. We had partially obstructed seats but still enjoyed the concert completely.

We really enjoyed our visit to this historic landmark. I wish we had taken the tour of the Ryman but we did not allow time. It is a former church so seating is pews - not the most comfortable but tolerable. The performance by Vince...More
Intimate and inviting. Friendly staff and security. Of course I had a cheap pocket knife on me, that security would not let me into concert with, no problem, I simply disposed it. Attended Vince Gill & Amy's Christmas Concert. Good seating almost anywhere in venue....More

Small concert venue with the best sound anywhere. Practically not a bad seat in the house. Some are obstructed view, under the balcony, but they are labelled as such, and I wouldn't take them. The Ryman is steeped in music history and well worth the...More

They are usually every 15 minutes starting at 9:15 IF the backstage is available. If they have a concert that night sometimes it’s a limited amount of time given for backstage tours or there will be no backstage tours at all. However, there is so much to see including the 3 million dollar film you will see. Self guided would be a great experience as well.
