On a cold day, the museum provided lots of warmth and information about Andrew &Rachel Jackson. I enjoyed seeing the artifacts, tomb and home on the grounds. Unfortunately, my audio guide battery ran down and I didn't have it for the last half of the tour.

Where to begin, everything is beautiful. We spent the entire day here. After we did the house tour we lagged back and talked with the tour guide who provided us with much more information and detail. We actually went through tour a second time as we had learned much more than on first run. The people who work there are... More

My wife and I visited during a recent vacation to Nashville. If you enjoy history, then this is a great way to spend a day. I would recommend getting the headphones to use during your tour of the grounds. You just have to leave a form of I.d.with the desk. There could be a wait to actually get into the... More

We found this to be very interesting - but, we were history majors in college. However, relatives with us found it just as intriguing and gives an appreciation for how an orphan can rise to become a president, albeit controversial.

Very enjoyable. Different guides dressed in historical attire greet you with information and stories that keeps your attention well. They have kept this area very well and I truly learned new history facts. And just an extra. They have a very nice gift shop.

I love history and have been here before but it's been many yrs ago so thought I'd return. The museum takes you through Jackson's life with many stops to read or hear about events in his life. There are many personal items, maps and paintings on display. The home is a guided tour conducted by very informative ppl. They explain... More

We enjoyed our tour of Andrew Jackson's home and museum. It has remained in excellent condition with most of the original furnishings. Even much of the wallpaper is still original and in excellent condition after almost two centuries. The original small log buildings out back (including the original Jackson home) are still there with the original cedar logs over 200... More

My wife and I love American history. This is the most historical accurate Presidential home in America! This home was built by Andrew Jackson for his family and NO other family has EVER lived in this house! I found this amazing since most of the furniture in the home is the original furniture.
