    Well run downtown arena
We visited Bridgestone arena for the first time recently while attending a concert and we were impressed. The arena is well laid out with lots of restrooms and concessions. The concourse is large so moving around is a breeze. The sound and site lines are excellent and the staff and security were competent and efficient. The arena and the area around it are clean and seemed safe as well. A we’ll run downtown arena.

    Awesome
Went to Queen with Adam Lambert. Sound system is amazing. Concert was awesome. My complaint with the arena were the prices first. 2 beers 1 drink 62.00. Seriously? Then the seats. Then only have about a foot of walkway in the aisles so anything over the 1st section you are unable to stand at all. Seats were tight so neighboring people were pouring over into my seat. Not good. But wouldn't have missed it for anything. Just know what your working with. Who doesn't want to dance at a concert.

Decent barn to watch a hockey game
We visited Bridgestone Arena as part of my quest to visit all NHL arenas. Located right next to broadway street with a ton of country bars and happenings, it’s right next to all the action. From the outside it’s very unassuming and king of just looks like one giant parking garage. Speaking of parking garages, I parked at the Hilton Nashville downtown garage, and it was a nice short walk to the arena and wasn’t too badly priced. We sat in the higher sections for the game, and although the view was great, the seats are definitely not big/tall person friendly. Very tight. As far as concessions go, we got the loaded grilled cheese sandwich that we were quite pleased with, as well as the all you care to have popcorn Zamboni for $35. Both a decent value. Please note, however, that the flavored alcoholic mixers they have at the one isolated stand down by the concourse is absolutely disgusting. They need to stop selling those. Before the game we had gotten notice that one of the players, Ryan McDonagh, was supposed to be signing autographs for kids down by the media booth that they have. So this man selling stuff in the booth was telling us to get ready by getting pucks for them to sign creating all kinds of hype about it. Unfortunately for predators fans and kids that had this man’s jersey, he denied all the fans any autograph because he was sour about getting their butts kicked. It’s a shame too because some of the kids were even crying about it. No swear though, as I went over to the color commentary and had Hal Gill sign my puck who is a much better human than Ryan McDonagh. Do better!

    Awesome arena
Amazing arena to watch a hockey game and the food is awesome for a venue like this. Yes, your going to pay premium prices for food and drinks and it is what it is these days. I highly recommend catching a Preds game here.

Excellent large venue, lots of food choices too!
Perfect venue for the SEC Men’s basketball tournament. The staff was helpful and the corporate lounges had beautiful, delicious buffets. The seats in the colesium were comfortable and good view from anywhere in the house. Definitely would attend another event here!

    Great seats!!
We were in Nashville for the weekend for my sister in law's 40th birthday. We decided last minute to go to the Predators game at the Bridgestone Arena. We were one row down for the last row at the tippie top. But we could see so well. There is truly not a bad seat in the entire arena. We had so much fun! We will go back to another game next time we are in Nashville!

One of the best concert venues! Great staff!
We’ve been to Bridgestone several times for concerts and saw Chicago and E,W&F last night. We do a lot of different live events at many different venues. Bridgestone is one of the best not only for its location but because the ease of getting in and the services provided. We generally walk to the venue from one of the many accessible hotels. Entry is smooth and security is excellent in helping get from one area to the other. There’s a variety of food and drink options. Of course the prices are a bit high but that’s the typical experience at most venues of this type. While I didn’t get many names I want to highlight one who served at the bar across from section 118. All I have is her name on a receipt but Jamie L. was super nice and, though very busy, seemed to enjoy her job and mixed well with her patrons. Thanks to Bridgestone for having such nice people on staff to make the experiences even better.

We purchased tickets months ago to see the Zac Brown Band this past Sunday in Nashville. We live in Florida so we also had to travel and get a hotel. We received a notice a few weeks before the show, that on October 2nd they were going to have a new policy regarding vaccines. You have to be vaccinated or have a negative test within 72 hours from one of their approved providers. Since neither of us took the vaccine at our Dr's advice (we already had covid and have antibodies), we called a provider when we arrived in Nashville to see about getting a rapid test. To our surprise, insurance does not cover a rapid test. The cost for a test is $139 per person!! So that would have added another $278 to the price of the tickets, which is slightly higher than even the 2 tickets were!! We opted to put the tickets up for sale on Ticketmaster and of course because so many opted out of attending we got stuck with the tickets! I have no idea why they don't simply have a temperature check at the door and do away with all this nonsense! I can honestly say that if this is going to start being the norm at Venue's, as a life long concert attendee, I will quit going as I'm sure many others will as well. It's just not worth it.

I’ve only been here to see the Predators hockey team, but I’ve sat in a few different places during a few different games, and have seen different halftime entertainment acts.

Most of our seats have been close to the ice. Some seats are great, if you can get in the middle (115, 116) and AWAY from the team boxes. Some people like to “feel part of the team” and choose the seats close to the team boxes. We’ve sat in the seats right off the team box, and I don’t recommend it. The coaches and the towel/water boys stand the whole game, and if you’re in the 115/116 section in rows DD/CC and below, toward the end of the row and near the boxes, they will obstruct your view of half the ice.

We recommend trying to get seats in the higher rows, FF and up. And really, some of the seats you wouldn’t think would be good seats really are, like the sections on the corners of the rink (102, 108, 109).

The acoustics here aren’t great, and the halftime shows are not AMAZING, but most people use this time as bathroom breaks anyway. The halftime fan games aren’t mind-blowing either, but the atmosphere is fun. The predators do put on an impressive pre-game light show. They have plenty of food and booze booths, which are the quality you’d expect at a hockey game. The bathrooms are clean.

Some recommendations: get there a little early as security takes some time. If you bring a clear bag or no bag, you can skip the long X-ray lines and go through the express lanes.

The Nashville Predators can be fun to watch, and there really aren’t any terrible seats in the house, but the sweet spot is in the lower levels in the mid to higher double letters, toward the center, but the corner sections can’t be overlooked either.

We have just returned from attending the US figure skating championships. We were very pleased that US figure skating had required proof of vaccination to attend. We found the staff very thorough in checking our cards and ID's. We felt that there could have been more attention once at the seats to having staff check that attendees had their masks fully in place at all times and were not eating or drinking at their seats as we often saw violation of both of these regulations. Also on our first day of attendance, there was only 1 food vendor open. We attributed that to the snow but certainly would have liked to see more to alleviate the long lines we saw for food. However, by the next day, there were many more vendors open for the much larger crowd in attendance. I would like to commend the arena staff for the professionalism and friendliness in what I'm certain was a difficult situation for all.

We started with dinner at Patron’s in the Arena. They have a delicious buffet. It is quality not quantity. The arena is an excellent venue with a lot very enthusiastic and friendly fans. Detroit fans have their octopus ... Nashville fans have their Catfish!! The fans chant, sing and dance in support of their hockey team! If you are in Nashville this is a must see even if you are not a hockey fan.

Although getting hockey tickets seemed to be a bit challenging (coming from Canada) we did end up getting them 24hrs before the game started. Ticketmaster wouldn’t allow out of area residents to buy them, but stubhub would for a little bit more money and then a hold to release them until 24hrs before. The arena was clean, the staff was super helpful and friendly! Easy to find being so close to all the action on broadway. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the people around us were great! Plus the leafs won, so that was great too!

Great venue for a hockey game. Enjoyed the awesome fan fueled vibe. The live music at intermission was great! The building took a long time to get into and fans should be aware that at least for the event we attended, there were different lines for a) those with no bags b) those with clear bags and c) those with opaque bags.

Keith Urban is absolutely wonderful. He gives his audience the best he has and everyone loves him.

What a great line up he had, Blake Shelton, Tanya Tucker, Chris Stapleton, the Brothers Osborne, Luke Combs to name a few. The highlight of the show was Keith Urban and John Osborne playing together. Two of the best guitar players on the planet !! We were lucky we were invited as guests to a suite. This was a memorable fun evening.

Thank you Keith Urban you're the best !!!!

Nashville ceases to be a Southern town when the Predators take to the ice, their flashing blades slashing down the milky-white ice of Bridgestone Arena. And the team makes every effort to mix the Southern culture with the aggressive countenance of a physical sport like hockey.

The result is a loud, raucous atmosphere led by a loud, raucous public address announcer who delights in raising the decibel levels in the building.

We saw the local six take on the invaders from Philadelphia and when the Flyers put two scores on the board in the first period, the assembled throng became quieter. But the rest of the night was spent coming back and the goal in the final 75 seconds that secured a 5-4 Preds victory sent the crowd into joyful hysterics.

There are plenty of accessible food options in the arena and many places to buy memorabilia to commemorate your visit. The arena, now more than 20 years old, is clean and fresh.

If you are considering a game, you’ll have a good time

Went to the Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen concert here in December. It was the best concert of our lives. The arena was clean and we had really good seats. The only complaint I can think of is the beer and food was ridiculously priced, but I feel like that is how every arena is. We will be back for more concerts for sure!!

The location of the facility is good, staff helpful. For the most part the large venue was nice but with that we were shocked a venue this size doesn’t have at least one large screen for viewing!?! We were there for The Doobie Brothers concert and I am just really glad we splurged on great seats, everyone can’t do that and it would be very disappointing. My suggestion invest in some large screens to keep your facility relevant and make people want to come back instead of choosing to see a concert somewhere else more up to date audio and video
