Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Like others we accidentally came across this, as we had never been in this area during any past Nashville trip. The bar is super cool and has a chill vibe with the couches.
The bartender is the reason it only gets 3 stars. It wasn’t crowded so we were able to get to the bar immediately. At first I literally thought she couldn’t talk because she didn’t greet us or ask what we’d like, nothing. Ordered 2 mixed drinks and Stood there for a minute while my husband was deciding what to drink. After an eye roll and still an awkward silence she finally spoke and said she would start the mixed drinks while he was deciding. She put all the drinks on one tab, no big deal since we ordered them all together. Other friend gets her debit card out to pay for hers and is met with a rude comment, “Are you not with him??”. 110 percent not impressed with service.
We will go back on future trips and hope to have a different bartender.

Used to be a hidden gem; now it's robbery. 4 drinks; 76 bucks (Before tip)
2 Margaritas and two bourbon on ice (one was a double; Jack Daniels and not even close to two shots)
It made me sad actually because I loved this place when it opened. The Marg was priced 11 bucks for the "well" tequila shot and 6 dollars on top of it to make it a marg. I'm sorry but it's not necessary and sickens me about the price gouging; ruined a great venue.

This is in Printers Alley and not as crowded as Broadway. It is a decent sized place with small tables, high tops and some couches off to the side besides the bar area. They have a full bar and music every night.

Went to Alley Taps on my first night in Nashville & had a great time. Met the owner, who was a wonderful bloke & the other staff were great as well. Good atmosphere & music. The band were really good.

Wandered into Printers Alley by accident-- had no idea it existed-- and soooooo glad we found it!!! The bouncer for Alley Taps lured us in, promising a great band. He didn't lead us astray! The band was energetic and crazygood; the vibe was friendly and chill; and... after getting a bit weary of well drinks on Broadway. I especially appreciated the wine selection. I'll definitely be back!

Located in Printer Alley you will find talented artists in small venue. None of the Broadway show and crowds. You can sit , have a drink and relax. Music fills the bar. Story telling, laughing etc. You get a real chance to understand the artist as much as hear their music. This place is a must

Amazing musicians all three times we went in. Hole in the wall with great service and friendly bartenders. Not a ton to eat, but they have lots of drink. They were out of my hard liquor and actually went to the store to get some for us. Nice touch! There is a side area that has a couch. Went 3 times while in Nashville. Off the beaten path, juts a little. Great vibe and less drunk 21 year olds. They have signed guitars for sale. Bought one. Love this place.

The very last band the main performers where worth waiting for , the performers before where sad and depressing. Headliners were absolutely amazing, upbeat played incredibly well! And lindsay and her partner were incredible bartenders we absolutely loved them both!

Surprisingly empty for a Saturday night but it was only 7pm. Easy to find a place to sit. Bartenders were very responsive and polite. Good selection. We didn't get any food but people around us did and it all looked and smelled good. No cover to get in but I think that was only due to the early hour.

We loved this place and visited several times during our stay in Nashville.
Heard a couple of nights of writers rounds. One night was interesting - young/raw writers and a couple of young talents. Saw a few great writers and a few that are definitely still learning their craft. Note to those proud mamas of the teen writers - might want to not take up all of the great seats if you want people to become fans of your kiddos. Never know who might be there and see your little hopefuls ;)
The nights we went when the teens were not performing was even better. A lot of really great music. The smaller and quieter atmosphere was a million times better than those huge aggressively loud bars downtown.
We really did like this bar, but it was for the music, not the service. The bartenders were never very busy so you would expect top-notch service, that was not the case. They really didn't seem all that interested in serving at all.
Will we return next time we are in Nashville, even with the poor bar service, yes.
