There are many options to hike. I always recommend going with a friend (or group) and spending 1-3 hours out here. It's gorgeous!

It is a very nice park for short hikes. A great place to take the kids for an hour or two. Go up the hillside trail for a little strenuous hiking.

Very favorite local spot. You can walk there, jog there, cycle there, or just simply sit and relax. If you are visiting Nashville, you should visit this park too. You will also get to enjoy wildlife there,

There are some really great trails for hiking in both parks. Very crowded on the weekends. Should be separate trails for running and hiking.

There is a small river running through the park, you can wade. No swimming tho. Trails (paved and rustic), nature center, dog park and places to picnic.
