The parks have great trails for walking. Everything is clearly marked and it's a great workout. Lots of people walk their dogs; please leash them. They don't allow cars to drive through which makes it safer.

Why don't they allow mountain bikes on all the trails in the park? They can't possibly do as much damage as the horses do. Silly rules and strange regulations . . .

We enjoyed a nike hike along the trails. The trails are a little difficult to keep track of as you start to climb up but it was fine. We'll have to come later in the year as we were hoping to see more fall colors!...More

I was not there in the day but attended the Full Moon Picking Festival and it was really fun and a low key place to see music. Besides a stage with bluegrass bands (bring your lawn chairs) there were also groups in the outlying field...More

Edwin and Percy Warner Parks are very walkable parks within the city limits of Nashville. There is a golf course, biking trails, and driving paths in these two parks, not to mention the Steeplechase venue and horse stables on Old Hickory Boulevard. A wonderful family...More

It is a fun day to plan a little walk in the middle of town and being greeted by deer, turkey and who know what else ! Some of the trails are challenging while others are paved so anyone can enjoy the exercise.

There is a small river running through the park, you can wade. No swimming tho. Trails (paved and rustic), nature center, dog park and places to picnic.
