There are some really great trails for hiking in both parks. Very crowded on the weekends. Should be separate trails for running and hiking.

Being between Nashville and Brentwood, you often see a little fame and fortune out on the trail. My wife jogged past Taylor Swift out here once. It is a very peaceful setting to get some outdoor exercise in.

The grounds are lovely, but it was raining and humid the day we visited. Choose a day when the weather is nice and it would be a great family experience.

The parks have great trails for walking. Everything is clearly marked and it's a great workout. Lots of people walk their dogs; please leash them. They don't allow cars to drive through which makes it safer.

Why don't they allow mountain bikes on all the trails in the park? They can't possibly do as much damage as the horses do. Silly rules and strange regulations . . .

This is one of the most gorgeous areas in Nashville! The parks are wonderful, relax and get away from all the hustle. The home are gorgeous too. Great place for little ones to run and play.

Plenty of parking in various lots. Easy to navigate trail system. Beautiful views, night hiking, lots of wildlife. Paved closed road for strollers. Pet friendly.

We enjoyed a nike hike along the trails. The trails are a little difficult to keep track of as you start to climb up but it was fine. We'll have to come later in the year as we were hoping to see more fall colors!...More

There is a small river running through the park, you can wade. No swimming tho. Trails (paved and rustic), nature center, dog park and places to picnic.
