It was almost 70 degrees on an early February day so we decided to check out the farmers' market. As one would expect during the winter there weren't many outdoor vendors. The vendors that were present were mainly selling meat (beef, lamb, ham) and winter vegetables (potatoes, lettuce, cabbage). We most enjoyed the indoor section which had many restaurants and... The place is huge, but not much there this time of year. Some fresh vegetables but I was more hoping for the flea market aspect.

Picked up our tour bus from this location and we were excited to shop at the farmers market when we returned. But there were very few vendors. Wish there were more local talent that participated. Local things is what I like to buy. So a bit disappointing. We did eat lunch inside and there was a great variety of food... More

Local Farmers Market behind the State Capital. It is on the route of the City Trolley buses and the free city bus. Plenty of parking. It is primarily a farmers market, so for tourists there is not so much attraction, but there are also some food stalls and other speciality markets inside. Worth a visit if you are in town... More

This is a great place for food! Especially in the winter when there aren't many vendors at the market. Be sure to take the FREE bus to the area! Worth going and lots of choices for food, sweets, gifts and unusual shopping!

Some of the restaurants were closed. Dining options are very good. Near the park. Disabled parking available.

We came here for lunch and the variety was amazing! My fiance and I went for the Chinese which I was skeptical about due to it being prepared already rather like a Panda Express only with all the good options like you would get at a normal restaurant. Our oldest opted for as she termed it the best grilled cheese... More

My MIL and I persuaded our 19 family members to come eat here for lunch one day of our reunion. The food was amazing, it was the best Greek food I've ever had. My daughter got grilled cheese from the hot dog/grilled cheese place and it was amazing. Hubs got pizza and it was fantastic. Loved the selection and the... More

If you don't know what you want for lunch the farmers market has numerous options for you. From Mexican to pizza and everything in between. It is reasonably priced.

My sister and I had seen the Grilled Cheeserie on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and saw they would be at the Farmers Market for lunch. We were surprised to find stalls still occupied with wonderful looking vegetables and best of all was the Marketplace. We got some ice cream and picked up a few items at the International Market that... More
