Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Some friends and I booked this food tour to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We are fairly local but we thought we could always learn new places to eat and learn more information about Nashville. After the tornadoes hit, we also knew it was important to still support Nashville as they rebuild. We had a wonderful time on this food tour. Kurt was an excellent guide - friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area or even if you live nearby. I have so many people already asking me about it and wanting to go. Thanks for a great time, Kurt!

Born and bred in Tennessee and have been to Nashville a lot for food and fun. Taking this walking tour was a new adventure. Kristi was a great tour guide. Lots of great information! She seemed to love her job so that made it a joy for everyone. She walks and talks fast so keep up! Our group loved the biscuit with chicken and pimento cheese. This is a well packed and very quick paced tour. You get to taste some of the foods and drinks of local places, as well as hearing and seeing quite a bit about the history of Nashville. One negative was that you get food very close together so it's hard to eat/drink quickly and keep moving. Certainly something that I would recommend!

We did the 2.5-hour food and history walking tour on 2/24/24. Our tour guide, Scott, was phenomenal! He shared tons of information and told great stories. We had hot chicken, mini donuts, BBQ, a frosty bushwhacker (rum milkshake) and a delicious Goo Goo Cluster. This was our first time in Nashville and this tour was the perfect intro to the city.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Scott was an amazing tour guide. We were a group of 8. The food was great, a taste of Nashville along with amazing historical anecdotes about the food, the Nashville music scene and local characters. Worth every penny.

We took the taste of Nashville driving food tour!
This was an outstanding tour! Scott the perfect guide. His music experience was top notch and added a lot to the tour. The food was fabulous with good portion sizes. Outstanding historical background for food venues and Nashville itself. Highly recommend it!! We would do it again!

So much more than a food tour. Because it isn’t a walking tour, we saw all of Nashville, not just downtown. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the food scene so best experience. Stopped at 5 places and enjoyed well-chosen menu. Last stop was a bar for a bushwacker and it was a highlight!

My wife and I took part in this tour and it was only us 2. Our guide Dennis was great, he is very excited to take you to spots and also give you background on everything you see and eat along the way. It's always nice to learn about the history of the place you are going around to. The food is fantastic, my wife and I were a little timid about the iced drink called the Bushwacker but it was really good. The chicken and BBQ are top notch, and the hot dogs we had were great. We had a wonderful time, it was cool getting to a different spot of Nashville to try some new things.

We were picked up promptly. Treated very nicely. Stopped for some Nashville chicken, gourmet hot dogs, a specialty drink and some local confections. Not really a tour of the city as much as trips to local eateries and an outline of the city's history. I really enjoyed it but my guest did not so it might not suit all tastes. A bit expensive for what you get but as a special treat it is well worth it.

We started on 2nd Ave and ate our way across the city. We drank bushwhackers and ate catfish, hush puppies, alligator bites and fried pickles. Torrie was a fun and enthusiastic tour guide, who kept things interesting with her angelic singing voice. It was a cool way to explore the city and learn new spots to checkout.

In a city’s which you have your choice of tours I would never choose this one. We booked this tour several weeks in advance for a Saturday morning, which is a popular time for tours. Because it was rainy and with threatening weather they canceled on us the night before (Less than 12 hours in advance). The only accommodation they made was to offer us seats on their bus tour however the bus tour began far away from our hotel and we had no car. They did not offer any accommodation for this. We did get our money back, however, it was too late to book another tour for that day. We suggested that they pay for an Uber for us to catch up with their bus tour, which would have cost them less than $10. They refused. For a $70 tour, there should be a profit to accommodate your customers and prevent disappointment.

My husband and I will be visiting Nashville this summer and would love to do the walking tour, however, we are both vegetarians. Do any of the food stops offer vegetarian options?
Thank you
Written 14 May 2018
Yes they do. When you make your reservation let know that you are vegetarians and they will work it out.
