This is a cemetery that is close to where we drive to come to Pigeon Forge and it is a nice location. It is taken care of well. We have walked around it before and there are a lot of older headstones here that are historic to the area.

Shiloh memorial cemetery in pigeon Forge Tennessee is a small cemetery that grew up around what was originally a log chapel, Francis Asbury founder of the Methodist Church would sometimes preach at this chapel. Over the years the cemetery has grown to just over 3000 graves and is still doing burials. In the older section of the cemetery you find graves from the revolutionary war as well as the civil war both north and south as well as many other veterans. It is also the final resting place for many early settlers in the history of the Gatlinburg, pigeon Forge area. While it is a interesting and historical cemetery it should not be used with Shiloh national cemetery located in Shiloh national military Park in western Tennessee.
