Old time feeling

Even though we had to just drive threw it was very good for the kids to see they thought it was very cool.

The Harrisburg Covered Bridge is tucked away off the beaten path. Almost like someone is trying to protect this piece of history from the real world. The bridge is very well preserved and still open to local traffic. It crosses a small stream in Sevier County, just off of US411.

We quickly went by this covered bridge after our Llama hiking experience. It was SO beautiful and quaint with just the right amount of old feel to make it a worthy detour off the main path.

A bridge that is covered. It's cute but it's in the middle of a "neighborhood" street. There is one small area near the bridge where 2 cars can park to come out and take pics.

This was not too difficult to find but parking was at a premium. Be careful getting out on the active roads to take photos and see the views over the sides.

We are covered bridge enthusiasts and enjoy seeing the Harrisburg bridge through the seasons. Not exactly a prime photo location nearby unless you get permission to access someone's property. There is a small pull-off spot and you can get some shots there.

This bridge is beautiful, if you are into old bridges. It is just a minute or two from the main road and worth the stop to see it. Go in the early morning to late evening to get the best photos.

This is an interesting stop. The interior of the bridge is very intriguing with unique history. The views of the river are very pleasant.

This was, definitely, a great old covered bridge...and in a crowded residential area. The bridge has a historial marker and allows for one vehicle at a time. We have been in the Sevierville area many times but did not know about the bridge.
