A favorite landmark of locals and tourists alike, the Harrisburg Covered Bridge is worth a visit. Conveniently located near Sevierville, be sure to read the historic marker nearby.

It was really cool to go and see and drive on old fashioned covered bridge plus it had literature telling you all about the bridge posted with it

We decided to take a ride off 411 when we saw the sign to the bridge. You can't stop at this bridge due to no parking and private property. Be prepared to take a picture on your approach and hope no one is behind you.

Neat little place to visit if you have some time to kill. I had never seen a covered bridge and was excited I got to visit one. There’s a place to park to take some pictures.

Harrisburg Covered Bridge was built in 1875 so it is truly a historic bridge. Nearby Emerts Cove Covered Bridge was constructed in 2000 and is not a historical covered bridge. I think many of the reviewers have mistaken Emerts Cove for the Harrisburg Covered Bridge....More

Such a wonderful small covered bridge not that far off the beaten path. That has been very nicely restored to its glory. It is an one Lane bridge. Well worth a five minute stop

Realizing this is a historic bridge, it was a great side trip for our vacation. It is located on a rather busy road however, made it a little difficult getting some great photos. The bridge is very sturdy built. Just a nice piece of history...More

It was just a small covered bridge. It is nothing like the covered bridges in Pennsylvania. If your driving by it go a head and stop by but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

This is a quaint little bridge. The gentleman who owns the adjacent property was mowing grass and offered to let us step onto his property to get some decent pictures. Very nice man.

Yes. Public road. Wouldn't really recommend it though because people live there on each side of the bridge. (private property.) If you go during the day there is a spot to park and walk across the bridge. Then you can... More
