The Bastrop Opera house is an interesting place just to visit and marvel at the historical facility. The icing on the cake are the entertainment offerings, check their schedule.

Great weekend shows for the family, children's classes that are drop in or can last for the locals. Great people, brand new interior, gorgeous old building. Inspiring !!!! Five Stars !

This was a unique tour of an opera house. This showed some great local color. I didn't expect much but was surprised by the building and the tour.

Welcoming tour by manager gave some local colour, it has a chequered history so do not expect La Scala !

I've been to the Opera House twice now. It's in the historic district and it's not a state-of-the-art venue. But it gives me a nice feeling to watch performances there.
