Very clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Water was a bit murky, most places can’t see bottom. Water doesn’t flow, not to great for tubing but for great kayaks. Still beats Galveston!

Very crowded and music playing. Would have liked to hear the waterfall from our picnic table. Otherwise, we had fun swimming and kayaking.

Hiking/Jogging trails. Kayak and floating tube rentals. Swimming area fills up pretty quickly but they have provided several picnic tables and grills on site.

A great place for a picnic or just hang out. We took the grandkids fishing and it was a blast. In between the little ones that we threw back some keepers were caught. Lots of enjoyment.

We made our reservations months in advance. Enjoyed our time here as a springboard for other excursions around the area. Park is clean and well maintained. Mostly families.

Beautiful, quiet place away from the party crowds that favor the waters this time of year. The park was well kept. Canoe rentals at the actual park would have been fabulous.
