Went on the brewery tour with my husband - awesome way to learn more about how Real Ale brews their beer. Grabbed a pint and Blanco Breeze before going on the tour - Real Ale now distills their own gin and whiskey! As someone who can't drink beer (gluten-free not by choice) I truly appreciated having a drinking option! Great... More

Have been to Blanco a number of times and were doing a beer tour with the family. I have been drinking Real Ale brews for almost five years it was time to dive in. Space: Modern and Comfortable Beers: Things like Scotch Ale and Devils Backbone are signature beers I like the vibe and offerings, which now include spirits. All... More

The tasting room is a great space and now serves tastings of their whisky (malt vs. corn or rye) and a tasty gin. The cocktails are inventive and feature fresh ingredients.

There is a great outdoor area and nice tap room. The beers are great and the tour was very informative. They have a food truck coming soon so it will be even better.

We happened to be staying in Wimberley on a Thursday night, so we lucked out that Real Ale Brewery does a free tour on Fridays. Not only that, but we only had 4 in our group, so our guide, Adam, who leads the brewing efforts here, led us on a personal tour. What we really enjoyed was the friendly staff... More

Looking for a beer to go with our takeout BBQ in Blanco, and saw the sign pointing to "Brewery". It was a cold evening, and close to dusk, so we weren't sure it would be open, but we turned up into the road and started searching. After winding around and behind other buildings, we found what appeared to be a... More

I love Real Ale for their consistently excellent brews and innovative brewing. Real Ale is one of the largest craft brewers in Texas and is located in the hill country, a great place to tour. They've added an upstairs tasting room that is contemporary and has a fantastic view of the bottling operation. The Real Ale folks are genuinely fantastic... More

Driving home from the river, we were hot and thirsty and saw the sign so in we went. We missed the free tour and the place was quite busy. One of the bartenders was less than friendly upon our arrival there, like we were annoying her. Despite her not being very helpful, we ordered a couple pints that were quite... More
