In the past few years Boerne has done a lot to beautify their park along the river...you pass right by it on TX 46. There are always ducks/geese to watch, setting at the new benches and picnic tables. The biggest draw back is on TX 46 at the traffic light just east of the park where traffic can backup for... Nice place just to go and relax. You can stroll along the river or just sit on the benches and feed the ducks.

Borne has a great City park along the river with picnic tables, rest rooms, and lots of birds to watch. The park is also very pet friendly.

This is a great place to go for fun on the water. It is a small lake, but there are paddle board and kayak rentals, an inflatable water park, and lots of places to just relax and cook out in the shade.

Great place for a quik swim and a BBQ. Bring the family and dogs and play away. Lake is very nice and clean due to NO gas powered water crafts on the lake. They have a nice frisbee golf trail and it's kept up nicely. Good place to fish as well not a ton of fish but you can catch... More

Bring some snacks to feed to the ducks. This spot is a great place to stop and just people watch. Fun to see the birds swimming to different groups of people that feed them.

Once there was a time when there were fair fees to use the park. From Memorial Day to Labor day you paid to get access. I think the highest was weekends and $8. Now, are you kidding!!?? $15 to get in on the weekends. $20 on holidays? Turned around and left. This isn't a State or National Park and I... More

This Park has been the 'fields' for Boerne as long as I have visited and then lived here, and all the locals mostly remember these parks and ballfields over the newer Northrup park, which is top class, in itself, too! Boerne City park has tennis courts, a swimming pool, and soccer fields, as well as being adjacent to some of... More

Great park and lake for swimming and non motor recreation. We rented paddle boards and swam a bit. Lots of area for running and playground for kids.
