Clean, scenic, and empty during the week. Drive a little farther for piece and quiet. Great campsites. Good fishing. Cool water. Historic CCC stone buildings.

Well kept, great staff!! Nice crappie dock for those that don't have a boat. The walking trails are in good shape as well.

it was a very nice place to camp, it wasn't open for the season yet but it was so neat and clean and lots of places to park your camper.

It's been years since I've been here. And obviously it's been years since they have done any up keep. Very disappointed in how things look. Really expected something more Maintained.

Great place for family fun. Check out the huge lodge for big gathering. Can even stay the night as a big group. Check out the lake. Bring a kayak and boat and jet ski and use the grills provided. Kept clean and look for wildlife

LIke a park setting. Many of the sites do have trees (some need trimming). Very clean, quiet and access to Lake swimming was great. We had a great time. July and August very very hot but not parks fault. Loved our trip!

Can you get in the water from the cabins?

Some of the cabins have a lake view, but it would be a major trek to make it down the trail that leads to the water's edge. They do have some screened camping structures on the waters edge though.
Do cabins have cooking equipment such as pots, pans, etc?

No, not even a tea pot or plates or flatware. Nor cleaning supplies.

I do not think they have 3 person cabin. It's either 2 or 4. If you have a little child, they may allow for a 2 person cabin. Please call them.
