This is an outstanding museum located on the main drag in Canyon, TX. I believe the fee was $10 for the 2 of us. This is the largest museum in Texas taking up over 300,000 sq feet. There are excellent displays of the oil industry,...More

We really aren't into museums, but this one came highly recommended. Suggest you come around 11:00, the school buses and tours are usually done by then and you will have the place to yourself. The place is bright, open and staff are friendly. Exhibits are...More

We arrived about 9.30 expecting to take in another attraction later, well that was a forlorn hope. Parking for visitors is at a premium so there as early as you can. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even Cassidy now knows where the rabbit...More

This museum is very well organized and covers a lot of Texas history. We spent a couple hours there and spent most of the time on the first floor. I highly recommend this museum for families with kids to show them how people lived before...More
