Flowers and grasses swaying in the breeze, water lapping nearby, lovely picnic lunch. Beautiful farm with buildings, tools, water tower and windmill gives you insight into prairie life. Trails, camping, boat ramp and fishing - lovely state park!

Like most Texas State parks the facilities are well maintained and clean. Plenty of cedar trees and on Joe Pool Lake. Close to the town of Cedar Hill and Grand Prairie incase you forgot something or wish to dine out.
