My son and I went horseback riding and had a lot of fun!! Adrian and Garrett kept the horses clean, organized, and made for a safe adventure. They knew their stuff, and we all had great conversation!!

We stayed in Cabin 21 (their most popular) apparently although I have no idea why. Black mold in the shower, the kitchen faucet wasn't hooked to the sink. The floors, windows, screens were filthy. The mold and musty smell permeated throughout the cabin, and into...More

For us, the best thing about Neal's is the rock to jump off of into one of the somewhat deeper (but narrow) holes in the river. If you get your tubes here, you don't have far to go to return your tubes at the end...More

It's hard to rate Neal's when we've never stayed at another place on the Frio. We were fairly satisfied, but there is always room for improvement. You have to remember you're just a step above camping by staying at the cabins. I was completely prepared...More

We decided to try Neal's for renting tubes. First of all, you enter a fairly large store but no one is there to greet you or point you in the right direction. After looking around at a large variety of Neal's paraphernalia, we found someone...More

We loved our stay at Neals lodges! The cabin was clean and cozy! We had everything we needed! The staff was nice and helpful as well, we enjoyed the swimming, horseback riding, Joe Jimmys dance and Neals cafe. We will come back!

The lodges we stayed in ranged from decent to "needs some real work done to it." You stay here to float down the river not for the lodging amenities. The staff was good and friendly. I would stay here again.

The Neals own several business in Concan. I would avoid the condos and I would rent take my tubing business somewhere else. This whole place was being run by rude teenagers. When one of our group had problem with their tube, the girl at the...More
