Performer's or Audience Best Music Venue

I've been to the Myers many times as both a performer and audience member. It's my favorite venue of all time. Great acoustics, comfortable chairs, majestic interior.

If attending a performance event, the Winspear next to the Meyerson is far superior. Parking is always a problem in downtown Dallas, yet mass transit is too far and too infrequent to consider.

Attended for a gospel concert. Great acoustics! Building is beautiful inside and out! Seating is such that the stage can be seen no matter where you are sitting.

Of course you can read the Wikipedia article and others regarding the innovative and interesting science and technology that went into the design of this facility. Yet, perhaps the best testimony is the experience of being there for an event viewing and listening to the performances. To this admittedly non-connoisseur and one with somewhat pedestrian tastes and appreciation of the... More

The music is just beautiful in the Meyerson Symphony Center. I have been to fun concerts, Christmas concerts and Show concerts ( West Side Story) Great all around. Also the Center is so pretty, you can also eat there before the concert. A must go to place if you are in Dallas, Tx

In this symphony hall the sound is amazing. There is not a bad seat in the house. I like to reserve an aisle seat as you can exit at intermission quicker. Sometimes the refreshment line backs up and the bathrooms are worse so a quick exit is best. The balcony has good seating in the first rows but has you... More

Wonderful facility. I'd walked around it while it was empty with no performance and it was super impressive. But to see a performance there is really an almost breathtaking experience. Seating is very well organized, staffed well with cordial people. The acoustics, lighting and warmth of the room is something you need to check out, and the organ, just amazing.

The Meyerson is one of several wonderful venues that are part of an area of downtown Dallas known as the Dallas Arts District. Home to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, you could also catch a variety of othe concerts and shows in this beautiful, acoustically superior music hall. Centered between the Dallas Museum of Art and the Nasher Sculpture Gardens on... More

Date night enjoying the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. As always the DSO's performance was exceptional. Had dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants, Steven Pyles. Enjoyed the entire night.

Accoutically superb venue, one of the earliest additons to the Dallas Arts District after the DMA, it still holds its ground as an anchor for the many venues that have been added since. The Myerson is one of the jewels of the Dallas art scene.
