Very clean and lots of volunteers and keepers around to answer questions and chat. The grounds are spread out and it makes for a nice few hours of exploration. Nice to NOT be bombarded by merchandise kiosks at every turn. Feeding the giraffes is a...More

Amazing animals! So much to see! Pay the extra money and ride the monorail!!! You see stuff that you wouldn’t be able to see without the ride. It’s slow and safe!

The Dallas zoo is good if you want to spend some time and do something. But it still has the same feel to me as it did when I was a kid. Needs some improvement. But still worth the money. Check it out for yourself.

This is a good zoo, nice in size. Parking is $10 and during the month of Feb you can get in for $8. I did see most if the animals. Some didn't;t like the cool weather. Great place to walk.

You can take The Dart rail from aost everywhere. We took the plano connection with our granddaughter. Easy access to the zoo entrance. Great day trip for young and old.

It is a lot to walk. And you can rent strollers and wheelchairs, but I would recommend taking your own. And try to go early. Avoid holidays and vacations. And dont go if it's too hot.vyou will be exhausted. But definitely worth a trip.

Dallas zoo has much improved over the years and has so much to offer. I like how most of the animals are now in open areas and the setting is pretty. I also like the convenience of being able to take the Dart almost to...More

The location and size is pretty small compared to other zoos, but this one is pretty decent. There are some good displays and a little bit of everything. The kids had a blast! There are quite a few exhibitions that are only happening at certain...More

We went there on Dec 31 morning. Unfortunately could not stay until dark to see the Lights which must have been wonderful as we could judge. There were very few people. It was cold enough so not all animals were available. But quite many for...More

The zoo is open in most weather conditions. If rain is light, they are open; if there is heavy thunderstorms, sleet or snow, the zoo is closed.

Tiffney J gave you good advice. The animals are more active in the early morning hours before it gets really hot.
