Dealey Plaza National Historic Landmark District has visitors from all over the world every day of the year! I live less than 2 miles from the area which affords you access to the former Texas School Book Despository and Dealy Plaza. The locale associated with...More

When you go to Dallas you are probably going to visit the Sixth Floor Museum, if so you may as well go here as well as it is just outside. It is not as big as i thought it was and had seen in films...More

Dealey Plaza is simply a grass field where several roads converge in downtown Dallas. By itself, it's nothing special and not worth a visit unless you are visiting other sites nearby (Reunion Tower, Red Museum), but it's what happened here in 1963 that brings the...More

I'm sure we have all seen the infamous video of JFK but I thought the route was bigger! The road was way shorter than I thought and of course there are people around trying to sell you "period memorabilia" or conspiracy videos. Wish there was...More

Combine the sixth floor museum tour with this area and you get a really interesting experience of the JFK assassination. It's not much, but it gives you that full experience of the event. worth the time to walk around that area.

It's nothing exciting as far as I am concerned but when at the JFK Book Depositary, it's worth seeing.

Be careful of the guys wanting to tell you stuff and hand you a newspaper, they are trying to make $. Great place to be for 5-20 minutes to see the 6th floor window and the site of the assassination.

This was one of our most memorable stops on our tour of Texas. The gentleman selling DVDs on the plaza was extremely interesting to talk to. We were surprised how close the grassy knoll is to the street as it appears father away in the...More

No fee. We parked at a street meter that happened to have time remaining. 😄. Also, there's a museum STORE right at the corner that is fun. It has a squash penny machine! Yea! 4Qs and 1p.
