A Fun Time

Visited the House Of Blues on a recent trip to Dallas. It was a good time. The bartender was a really nice guy.

I attended a concert there for the first time with a friend who is permanently handicapped due to chronic back pain. When you walk in the concert hall, there is a raised area with a few dozen 4-top tables and stools for those willing to pay $100-$200 per table. My friend was one of the first people to arrive and... Seen Black Rebel motorcycle club there Tuesday night...good sound system, nice set up and excellent security...of course alcohol prices were quite high. $7.50 for a 12oz can of Shiner reminds me why I limit myself to the amount of shows I go to...

A group of my family and friends went to HOB to hear my niece sing in the restaurant area for the first time. The staff was very friendly and the manager was exceptional. We had two more join us that we weren't expecting, and being a Saturday night seating was limited. The manager grabbed a few extra chairs so they... More

Have seen dozens of bands at this venue. It's smaller, has an upper-balcony, multiple bars, a decent menu if you need to grab a bite. Always has great up-and-coming-talent. Wife and I goto a LOT of concerts and this is BY FAR our favorite venue. :)

My friends and I went for a Green River Ordinance concert. The whole atmosphere of the place was amazing...you could stand close to the stage or sit above in the balcony. It's not a very big venue so the concert felt personal. The lead singer of the band even came off the stage and sang an acoustic song in the... More

We loved our spur of the moment experience at the House of Blues. A rocky start the crossroads restaurant didn't see our Open Table reservation but suggested we try the foundation room..their other restaurant to see if they did. They didn't but said they'd seat us quickly after we showed our tickets to a show at the venue. An elevator... More
