Fully Guided. Easy Walking. Multi-Stop. Food Tasting Sightseeing Experience.

Enjoy amazing food while soaking up Dallas history on our food tasting and cultural walking tours. Come hungry, because on our Uptown Dallas tours our favorite restaurants serve up generous tasting plates. Our food tastings are enough for lunch!

In addition to our sit-down restaurant tastings and entertaining Dallas commentary, some of our tours also feature several historic attractions unique to Uptown such as the McKinney Avenue antique trolleys. Uptown Dallas is just one mile north of downtown Dallas, minutes from most hotels and convention center.

Tours operate daily. 2.5 to 3.5hr Tours. 5 - 7 minute walk in-between restaurants.

We specialize in public tours and private group events. Tours often sell out, advance purchase required.

We had the best time with Jim on Saturday! He is so knowledgeable and we loved all of his jokes.  My husband and I had a great time with the other couples as well—everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves and at the end everyone mentioned their favorite part was Jim’s info on the city---mine was also the guacamole bruschetta... We needed a corporate outing that would get everyone excited for the conference and break up to hum-drum of the day - boy did this fulfill our need! Everyone was so excited leading up to the evening out and the experience was amazing. The planning process was as easy as could be and Food Tours of America is very flexible... More

Fabulous tour! Our group went on the Dallas Food and JFK History Tour. Tour Guide Jim had wonderful knowledge of Dealey Plaza area and had excellent food choices at the various restaurants. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dallas.

Our tour was awesome! Mereille was wonderful and the good was great. The tour included three restaurants (brunch, Mediterranean and tacos) plus a dessert stop. Plenty of food and got to ride the trolley. Would absolutely recommend.

Our guide Mariella (?) was very experienced and informative. She navigated us through the rain for a good portion of the 3 1/2 hour tour. At the first stop, Rustic, the food was delicious, and the last stop Bisous, Bisous, a bakery, was amazing! The stops for food in between were tasty, but we wish there had been some BBQ... More

Mireille took us to several amazing restaurants and was very knowledgable. Loved the steak tacos, the pita and humus, the cactus foods and so much more. She was a great story teller and super pleasant to hang out with. Loved her and the event. I will make food tours a regular part of my future trips to different places.

This is a review for the Dallas Market Tour. Our tour guide was nice, just wish he was a little more knowledgeable on the history of the Dallas Farmer's Market. Food was amazing. Fresh, locally owned food. For this specific tour, you may want to eat something light as this is more of a "light lunch". I may want to... More

The Dallas Farmer’s Market has a fascinating history and a promising future. Visit an authentic Tamalero (where they make tamales), learn about urban rooftop beekeeping from a local beekeeper, taste Texas pecans, explore an urban garden and take a picture on an vintage tractor. Everything is bigger in Texas including their Farmer’s Market!
