Great food options, plus arts and boutique shops open late

Love this area. Many good restaurants and strolling through the shops is a great way to spend an evening. Art works, clothing, and lots of cool, fun things to see and buy.

Had a great time strolling around the district before having lunch at Lockhart BBQ. I hadn't known that Dallas had so many bungalow houses. The Dallas Streetcar provides free transit from Union Station downtown, taking about 20 minutes and providing a fun trip over the Trinity River.

Take the D-line bus from downtown (free) to the trolley (free) and enjoy zipping along through a number of real neighborhoods. This one is a fun & funky place, full of interesting little shops and great places to eat.

Lots of interesting shops, restaurants and pubs to visit (try Lockharts for excellent bbq and Dude Sweet Chocolate for otherworldly chocolates) make the Bishop Arts District a worthwhile stop while visiting Dallas.

Nice area to walk around, shop and eat! We had lunch outside and enjoyed a beautiful Dallas day! Recommend a stop at Emporium Pies for dessert if you have time!

There are some cute little shops here selling over priced things which you can get online for a lot cheaper, but the thing that really stood out to our family of 6 was the attitude of many of the proprietors. It was not a friendly environment. You got the idea that many of the stores didn't do much business and... More

With out of town guests visiting for Christmas we looked for someplace to explore that would appeal to all. We found just that in Bishop Arts District. Great streets to stroll and check out fun shops and galleries--and then satisfy your chocolate craving!

The surrounding area is a little sketchy, but the downtown area in Bishop Arts district is adorable and there are a great few streets to walk around, get brunch and do some shopping. I'm not sure how far I would walk outside of it though!

Who knew smack dab in the middle of a Dallas neighborhood there is a hip shopping/eating experience known as the Bishop Arts District. There are so many quaint little shops with unique wares and restaurants as well. My friend and I spent an entire day browsing in the shops and ate dinner at Eno's Pizza and dessert at the Pie... We enjoy frequenting the shops and restaurants in Bishop Arts. It is a safe location in south dallas for hanging out with family and/or friends. Neat, one of a kind stores and bars. Cigar shop, Cider Bar, Antique store for men, Comic & Games store, Pie shop....You have got to get here!
