This is a little area in Oak Cliff where you can do some shopping, grab some brunch, and then after dark, dinner and drinks. It's well laid out, and has a highly visible police presence. (The surrounding neighborhood has a reputation for being quite rough,...More

I typically am not a shopper when on vacation but found a couple of things I couldn't leave behind while in the Bishop Arts District. Great sales service too. Wish I had found it earlier!

Went here and had tacos... not hipster tacos, but good tacos. It's bustling with restaurants and shops and easy to walk around.

I like popping into bishop arts when I need a gift for someone because I always find something unique. We also try a different restaurant each time. Just plan this before you go because many shut down between brunch and dinner.

Previous answers are excellent, Downtown is closest, but not walking, if they would finish trolley would add charm and option. Belmont Hotel in Oak Cliff, is an option but I think is really Pricy. Enjoy
