Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I don't know much about sculptures but was definitely intrigued by the art. Myself and some friends wanted to explore downtown Dallas and stumbled across this impressive beauty. Food was ok, but that sculptures and the narrative behind each one was educational and intriguing

We really enjoyed the Nasher. One of the best that the Art District has to offer. This is a wonderful museum if you like sculpture. It is right across the street from the Dallas Museum of Art and Crow Museum of Asian Art. The eclectic outdoor sculpture garden is excellent and ideal to relax and enjoy its beauty

It was a beautiful day to tour inside and outside. Just enough variety of artists (some names I recognized & some I did not) and exhibits. Having seen some works in other cities of a few of the represented artists made this visit more enjoyable. It doesn't take long to tour. Friendly docents available for questions. Nice cafe on garden level. A center worth visiting and supporting.

If there is only one museum you can bear to visit, give everything else a miss & go here! I promise you that you won't be disappointed. The site of the outdoor exhibits will draw you in even at the height of noon. The gorgeous tree shaded path, leading up to the weeping willow besides flowing water is tranquil! It has enough space that people are not on top of each other. The sculptures are open to interpretation. When outside gets too much, you can come inside to stroll the interior galleries. It always has something interesting & appealing for everybody. I highly recommend it!

In a peaceful area of downtown Dallas. The sculptures are very interesting with some having a lot of information on them and others not. A docent talked with us about one of the sculptures which was extremely interesting and when we went back with more questions he was happy to answer them. I wish we'd had more time to stroll. Restrooms could use better signage. We walked about 2 blocks to the park on the overpass with about 15 food trucks. Very nice. Want to go again!

We went on a Saturday morning and had a really nice experience. The helpful staff member who greeted us wisely suggested that we check out the outside sculpture garden before the heat of the July day took hold. We enjoyed every piece, starting with two large Mark di Suvero pieces from the Steel like Paper exhibition. The works outside were diverse but all inspired conversation among our small group. My favorite was the Richard Serra work, “My Curves are not Mad”, which is designed to be walked through. Inside, I was delighted to find the work of self taught Pittsburgh artist, Thaddeus Mosley. I had read about his work, but never seen it in person. Definitely worth the trip!

I was able to attend the Spike Lee Speaker series at the Nasher Sculpture Garden and ate prior to the event for the first time. I did a stroll throught the Garden while waiting for dinner. I must say the walk in the garden is even more special at night than it is during the day. I was able to see the sculptures in a different light. My boyfriend and I really had a great time studying the night sky and the art. We also had a chance to eat in the restaurant. The food and service were incredible! I recommend dinner here!

The outdoor sculpture garden is very pleasant on a nice day, but mostly pretty abstract art. Worth a trip, but I've seen it now.

The museum costs $10 each. We stayed maybe 20 minutes. There was nothing to see. The Dallas Art Museum is next door, free and more kid friendly. The outdoor gardens were nice for a quick walkthrough. Would be an awesome place for an event. Not a good pick for something to do with kids. Save your money.

Are any parts of the museum pet friendly?

The museum has a park, but even there is no signs, I do not believe pets are allowed.
