We saw the John Cleese & Eric Idle show at the Majestic. It is a beautiful theatre with comfy seats with plenty of legroom and good visibility. The ladies bathroom line was 50-deep at intermission but moved very quickly. I would grade down for the drinks--a tiny (maybe 4 oz.) tumbler of wine was $9, with the expected option to... More

My wife and I attended a concert here and had an enjoyable evening. The architecture is beautiful so arrive early to look around. It reminds you of what concerts were like before the majority of them started being held in large arenas or stadiums. There's plentiful parking across the street and nearby. For a pre-concert meal, Wild Salsa is just... More

just went to a concert at the Majestic. Of course the Majestic is the oldest theater in the down town area. In the 60"s ( I believe that is the correct years) when you went to the movies there, you wore your Sunday best, and beore the movie startedan Organ would come up on the stage ( from under the... The Majestic is such a beautiful historic theater! I went there as a child and watched movies, but for years now it has been converted to a theater venue with plays, concerts, etc. It is located in downtown Dallas and has parking nearby. The architecture inside is awesome. The size is perfect for each person attending to have a good... More

I saw movies at this theater when I was a teenager. I was amazed the first time I went back in the late 70's to see "The Manhatten Transfer". I recently saw Kathleen Madigan, a comedian and continue to be impressed with this beautiful historical theater.

I Love Love Love the Majestic Theater in downtown Dallas. The first time I was there was in the 60's with mom to see King Kong. I've been several times since and love it every single time. I've seen David Copperfield the magician and Keb Mo in concert. Happy with whatever I've been to there. If you have time and... More

I was here for a slow recently, everything was very nice, small, loved all the mirrors throughout. Parking across the theater was very convenient. Loved it!

I was so excited to go back to this venue after so many years but I was so disappointed with the way it looks now. Why nobody is paying attention to this jewel in downtown Dallas? Ripped carpet and curtains, parking is a hassle. What happened to valet service for oversold shows?

Went here to see Daniel Tosh comedy show. Had to valet park and they scratched up the hood of my car, but the actual venue is nice and cozy.

The Majestic is a classis old theatre in Dallas. We have been there many times and enjoyed each. I wish Dallas had more of these old theatres like you dind in New York, Boston and Chicago.
