Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Four of us couple’s visited Fall Creek because our friends are members. We sampled and ordered bottles of Cab and Chardonnay wines. They were merely mediocre. Our friends were very disappointed in the changes being made since the former owner passed away and they have been frequent visitors.

Quiet and tranquil location in the Texas Hill Country. It is an easy day trip from Austin and is across the street from the famous Salt Lick BBQ if you want to combine stops. Wine tasting is table-side.

Fall Creek is a great Texas winery. We visited here for a tasting and really liked the majority of wines we sampled. Our host was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tasting room is in what appears to be an old house so we got to enjoy views of the garden area around the swimming pool.

Two friends and I visited the Tow location today, a Monday. We were greeted very rudely as we parked in the drive in front of the locked gate. It was pointed out that we were wrong to have done that. No tastings are available on Mondays. We selected a wine with little help as it was written on the list - Dry list and semi to sweet list. No input, no questions asked as to what kind of wine did we prefer, just “read the lists” we were told. We bought a bottle but it was too sweet for us. When we left we were asked if we would like to purchase anything else. Not having tasted any other wines I told him that I didn’t want to buy anything I had not tasted. “Well, you don’t taste food in a restaurant before you order!” Was the reply I received.
I do have to say that in my visits in years past, I very much enjoyed my experience there. Not today. Unfortunately I will not return.

My wife and I started a day off on the day before Thanksgiving here, and we're glad we did. The server took great care of us while we sampled several wines and enjoyed the sunny day. We would definitely come back to visit in the future.

Taking friends to Salt Lick and notice Fall Creek Vineyards tasting room opened up across the street! Salt Lick has their own tasting room also, but thought we would stop in to see what's "aging" at Fall Creek. What a surprise...an upscale tasting room in a nice homey setting, showing some of the best wines we have tasted made right here in Texas! Their Chardonnay was great, but the upscale Reds got our attention! Not typical to find this type quality wines outside of CA, but here we are! Learned a few things about why these particular varietals are doing well in this hot climate also...overall, this is a very nice tasting room with great wines, so close to Austin; and with Salt Lick across the street, you can take a bottle of wine from Fall Creek or pick one up at Salt Lick's tasting room to enjoy with your BBQ! (Salt Lick also stocks local Craft Beers...including the very popular Hi Sign Beer.)

Price for tastings is too high. Light food offerings were high too. Patio is nice place to relax. If you don't mind d high prices go here.

First time here and we liked all the whites. The reds were good, but we really enjoyed the whites more. Their tasting room is very nice, enclosed for this Texas heat! Outside is just beautiful, they have different levels and places to sit and enjoy your wine.
