Visited the museum (art gallery?) on a Friday morning and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The have an extremely informative guide book which explains the historical background, information on the artist and artistic details of each piece on exhibit which I found most helpful. The paintings and sculptures are all on the Western cowboy & Indian theme and really are... More

This was our third trip to Sid Richardson's fine museum of Russell and Remington (and a few other artists). The second time we went we did not get there because of so much downtown construction which seems to be finished. The museum opens at 9a. We arrived just a few minutes after and actually found a place to park on... More

The Sid Richardson Museum is not a huge place......easy to walk through........and full of great works of art. We thoroughly enjoyed our viewing of Remmingtons and other Western Art artists. Definitely a great place to visit........and a cute gift shop, too!

Priceless works of art merely feet away from the sidewalk. Knowledgeable docents and terrific guide book describe one of the finest collections of Western art by Remington and Russell

Great place to view western art that is in the Sundance Square area of downtown Fort Worth. Staff is very helpful and informative and if you like western art, this is a great place. Not as well known as some of the other museums, but well worth the trip especially if you are downtown are visiting Sundance Square.

Sid Richardson left an impact and in this museum you'll have an opportunity to visit a beautiful collection of american western art. From legendary paintings and storyboards from Lonesome Dove you'll find it here

If you love western art, you must go here. Downtown almost across the street from Risky's BBQ. Works by some of the best western artists ever. Although not large, you will see the cream of the crop here in western art!

Small but excellent collection of Western art. Everyone in our multi-generational group enjoyed and appreciated something in the exhibit.

This was my third visit to this museum in the last 18 months. I just love the Western artist Charlie Russell and this museum has a great selection of his paintings. They change the paintings every 6 months or so- Sid Richardson's collection has over 100 paintings and they only show about a third of them at a time. Also... More
