The Butterfly Exhibit held every spring is a must see. Hosted in their very own greenhouse, rare specimens are flown in from all over the globe. Lunch after in the Gardens Restaurant was wonderful great fare for great prices. Then tour the Gardens in the afternoon. Make the entire day about nature's bountiful beauty. You will not be disappointed! The... More

Nice walk thru the gardens. The conservatory was closed. We did not go to the Japanese garden but stopped at the gift shop when leaving. The gardens were really not blooming because it is February! The pansies and kale looked beautiful and some redbuds were starting to appear.

We knew February would be a slow time for this, but were disappointed that the solarium was also closed. Maybe another visit.....

We had a little bit of time to kill and wanted to go somewhere that didn't charge admission since our time was limited. This was perfect for that. We had an enjoyable Sunday morning walk. Since it was February some plants were dormant but some bright pansies and other early flowers were beautiful. Tranquil location, enjoyed watching the squirrels and... More

There is just something about the Fort Worth Botanic Garden that soothes the soul. The flowers and other gorgeous plants and trees are a balm for your spirit. If you are visiting Fort Worth you absolutely need to visit the Garden. No fee unless you want to see the Japanese Garden and that is only seven bucks for adults and... More

It is spring at the Botanic Garden! Daffodils are beginning to bloom and sweet aromas are filling the air. In another few days this place will be in its glory! To add to the natural beauty, the restoration area is a delight. Paths meander through the area near the old rose gardens, and the new landscaping includes water fountains and... More

If you are visiting Fort Worth, this is a MUST VISIT location. It is easily accessible from downtown. It will be one of the most pleasurable walks/strolls of your life. I have visited gardens throughout the U.S., Europe, and Australia. The FW Botanic Garden rates as one of my all time FAVS. My travel date says Dec, 2016 as that... More

No bikes allowed. The security guard was rude and gave me no other option than to leave the grounds. I cannot believe a major attraction would not have a place to put a bike. Or at least be nice about it and try to assist in another way so I could see the gardens.
