This has been on our bucket list for many years. Proud to say at 67 and 65 was made it to the top. Well worth the effort though not an easy feat.

Excellent hiking trails with phenomenal views. Really fun , family friendly place to visit. There are several different hiking trails with the hardest being summit trail . Definitely family friendly but be careful with very young kids , there are definitely the potential of slips , trips , and falls . Overall great place !

The trails are very well organized and labelled as to level of difficulty. Some of the trails are quite a challenge but the views are stunning. The information about the geological formation is very good also. You could easily spend a few days here covering all the trails. Camping sites are primitive but worth the walk.

Great park for hiking, but be prepared if you go on a weekend or holiday for crowds. The park fills quickly, we visited on a friday afternoon and arrived 45 min early to get our spot in line outside the park. Cars lined up along the road till they opened the gates, once inside you have to walk to the... More

Park can get busy, but was quiet out of season. 7 bucks a bit annoying to pay, not used to that in the UK. Good place for a half day to stretch your legs though. Summit walk is easy and well worth the 360 view over hill country. check weather first as trail may be closed Plenty of photo ops.... More

I always have an amazing time climbing up the rock, it provides some really nice views once you're up there! There are a lot of different paths you can take around the park, so you will always see something new!

Very sad that my time here in Fredericksburg will end tomorrow and I wasn't able to get to visit Enchanted Rock... was told they are closed due to a hunt 😢 Enchanted Rock was one of the reasons I chose Fredericksburg to visit.

Looking to get away from the city? This is the place to get to for hikes and climbs. Great views on top of the rock. There are also several hiking trails that are fairly easy to do. Great for the outdoors. Be sure to get there at opening time during holidays as the park has a set quota for visitors... More

Good scenic hike but the trails aren't clearly marked. We got lost for a bit which made me a bit nervous as there is definitely wildlife out there. Came across a tarantula, a couple lizards and saw lots of turkey vultures flying around. I wouldn't recommend doing the trails closer to sunset as who knows what else may be out... More
