So, my boyfriend surprised me with a day trip outside of Austin. We went here and it was quite an experience. I was wearing converse and jeans (as I really thought we were just going to explore the city) and that’s where my first mistake...More

Beautiful view from the top ~ kind of a hard trek for a 70+ year old woman, but I made it and it was totally worth it. Enjoyed a nice picnic lunch on the clean tables/benches. Clean facilities.

We love this hike we take our grand children that are young elementary. We hike up with back packs and take water and snacks and it is delightful---great view, can see for miles--good hike--can see where you are walking no bushes with snakes hiding.

We loved this park. The hikes weren’t too strenuous yet provided some beautiful and unique scenery. We recommend not forgetting your map as we did. And do watch out for the cactus.

The cave is a nice feature at Enchanted Rock. Note this is not a review of Enchanted Rock, but the cave at Enchanted Rock. It allows a nice beginner experience for climbing and bouldering. Be careful! Take a flashlight and be prepared to climb. Little...More

There are caves at the top. Technically probably a jumble of big rocks all on top of each other with cracks you can pass through in between. I didn't go in but saw people go in at one spot and come out about 10-20 mins later... More

No. Maybe for the first 10 yds. Bring him back when he's 9-12 for a 2 hr. cave journey if you know both legs of the cave. You will need a flashlight, to wear pants and the right shoes, and to be ready to get dirty in general.

If you are standing on top of the rock, start going down the back side and it will be to your right after you start the down hill. There is actually a little sign there too.
