Wildseed Farms is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just seven miles east of Fredericksburg, Texas. Come by and see us seven days a week, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring the camera and capture the ultimate in wildflower photographs! Spend as much time as you like at the farm's activities. We have 200 acres of wildflowers in various stages of development here on the farm. Springtime visitors will likely see Texas bluebonnets, red corn poppies, phlox, and a gorgeous array of other spring flowers. Summer visitors will enjoy cosmos, sunflowers, zinnias and other warm weather bloomers. In the fall, the fields are planted for the following year's color, but our Nursery is well stocked with a variety of choices for fall planting and colorful pumpkins adorn the grounds around The Shops at Wildseed Farms which are brimming with delightful gifts for home and garden. And don’t forget to browse our incredible selection of wildflower seeds as well as our seven regional mixes for anywhere in the U.S.

We visited on a murky overcast day, and it was still beautiful! You can wander through the planted areas, and see things growing so you'll know if they work in sun or shade! If you garden at all, this is a great visit!

We stopped by the Wildseed Farms on our Fredericksburg adventure. They were getting ready for the spring season but a some healthy potted plants to choose from outside and lots of seed selections inside. You'll find a gift store and a small dining area with various jams, spreads, and treats to purchase. There were lots of places to sit and... More

Great place to visit. It's a lot bigger than you think. The Wedding Oak wine tasting room was excellent. Plenty of tables outside to sit and enjoy a bottle of wine while munching on some snacks from the general store. The pickles, salsa , and jams at the general store were excellent. Next time I go back I am stocking... More

I was planning to stay one night in Fredricksburg and came across the Wildseed website in my research. I couldn't wait to visit it for the features mentioned on the site, including: a beer garden, fields of flowers, places to take photos, shopping, and homemade peach ice cream. Unfortunately, we left disappointed. When we arrived, there were no fields of... More

Even with nothing in bloom this is a great stop, tons of gift items and flower seeds. When the fields are in bloom it is awesome.

Absolutely a MUST!!! The gift shop has several knick knacks and a room full of various seeds. From cosmos to a wildflower mix, this is the place for good, quality seeds. They also have plants for the step ahead gardener. Recently, the have started their own award winning wines.
