We were visiting for a graduation, but wanted to see what we could find in this small town. Pleasantly surprised by this museum. They were closing up, but they gave us a few more minutes. If you are interested in historical stuff, check it out.

Located in the old fire station, this is an excellent small museum. Current exhibit is about immigrants entering thru the Port of Galveston. Very well done. Also, nice info on the town and local Medal of Honor recipients.
